Gradient Inheritance
A project where a fascination with the 1950's is highlighted
Gradient Inheritance is a personal journey, started with a fascination with the 1950’s and the classic Cadillac cars in particular. Joëlle realised soon during the research that the cars of this period of time had a symbolic meaning. Joëlle’s dad was a car mechanic with a specialisation in color. Joëlle deepened these two aspects into the project Gradient Inheritance where three looks were created. The looks are photographed with an analogue camera and the team surrounding her all had a personal friendship which made this story more meaningful.
